Key Responsibilities:

Patient Preparation:

+ Prepare the dialysis equipment and patient before treatment.
+ Assess and record vital signs and weight before and after dialysis.
+ Explain procedures to patients and provide emotional support.

Dialysis Treatment:

+ Operate dialysis machines and related equipment.
+ Insert needles or catheters to access the patient's blood.
+ Monitor patients throughout the dialysis process for adverse reactions.
+ Adjust fluid removal rates and ensure accurate documentation of treatment.

Equipment Maintenance & Safety:

+ Sterilize and maintain dialysis equipment.
+ Ensure all machines are in proper working order and report malfunctions.
+ Follow infection control protocols strictly.

Documentation & Reporting:

+ Maintain accurate patient records and machine logs.
+ Report any abnormalities or concerns to supervising medical staff.

Team Collaboration:

+ Work collaboratively with nephrologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
+ Participate in staff training, quality assurance, and audits as required.

Patient Care & Ethics:

+ Uphold patient dignity, confidentiality, and rights at all times.
+ Provide high standards of compassionate care.
