Qualification:

GNM/B.SC with valid registration

(ANM Only with valid renal care experience of min 6 months)

Roles And Responsibilities:

Conduct pre-dialysis assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and dialysis prescriptions

Monitor lab results (eg. blood work, electrolytes) and adjust treatments accordingly. Assess patient comfort and well-being before, during and after dialysis sessions

Continuously monitor patients throughout the dialysis process for adverse reactions or

complications

Recognize and manage potential complications such as hypotension, cramps, and infections.

Provide emotional support to patients undergoing dialysis treatment.

Document patient data, treatment outcomes, and any incidents in patient records accurately.

Communicate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and coordinate treatment adjustments.

Follow strict protocols for infection prevention, including sterilization and maintenance of dialysis oquipment.

Monitor for signs of infection at dialysis access sites and report as necessary

Respond promptly and effectively to patient emergencies during dialysis, including initiating CPR if needed

Recognize early signs of complications and escalate to the physician or other medical statt as

appropriate.

Participate in quality assurance activities to improve patient outcomes and the efficiency of the dialysis unit

Stay updated on the latest dialysis technologies and nuning practices.

Skills Required:

Knowledge of nursing & Proactive Monitoring

Strang clinical skills with a focus on patient core during dialysis procedures

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Thorough understanding and assistance of Haemodialysis procedure
