Dialysis Nurse - Rahi Care Pvt. Ltd.

Salary: ?10,000 - ?17,000 per month (approx., varies by experience & centre)

Location: Multiple centers across India (Chandigarh, Mohali, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal, Rajasthan, Odisha, Uttarakhand, etc.)



Role Overview

A Dialysis Nurse at Rahi Care is responsible for providing safe and effective hemodialysis treatment, monitoring patients, managing vascular access, and ensuring high standards of care inside the dialysis unit.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pre-Dialysis Duties

Assess patient vitals and health status before treatment.

Review doctor's dialysis prescription and lab reports.

Prepare dialysis machine, dialyzer, and consumables.

Ensure proper infection-control and machine safety checks.

2. Dialysis Procedure

Perform vascular access cannulation (AV fistula, graft, or catheter).

Start dialysis and continuously monitor vitals.

Manage complications: hypotension, cramps, clotting, reactions, etc.

Supervise and guide dialysis technicians as needed.

3. Post-Dialysis Duties

Disconnect patient safely and ensure hemostasis at access site.

Observe patient recovery and document findings.

Provide access-site dressing and care.

4. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain dialysis logs, vitals, medications, and treatment notes.

Report any abnormal findings or emergencies to the doctor.

Update hospital system and patient records accurately.

5. Patient Education

Guide patients on diet, fluids, access care, and medication adherence.

Explain dialysis process and help reduce anxiety.

6. Equipment & Safety

Ensure proper functioning of dialysis machine and RO water system.

Follow strict sterilization and biomedical waste disposal protocols.

Maintain cleanliness and safety of dialysis unit.

7. Team Coordination

Work with nephrologists, technicians, and nursing staff.

Assist in training junior staff.

Support smooth day-to-day operations of the centre.

Qualifications

GNM or B.Sc Nursing

Experience in Dialysis / ICU / Critical Care preferred

Strong knowledge of hemodialysis process and patient monitoring

Good communication & emergency-handling skills
