We want smart and enthusiastic Diabetes educator who is responsible for empowering the people with diabetes and prediabetes to manage their condition by providing individualized education and support to improve self-management skills. They have to educate patients on disease management, develop customized plans for diet and exercise, and instill the confidence and skills needed to make informed decisions and achieve their health goals. By working with patients and their families, diabetes educators aim to improve health outcomes, reduce frustration, and help individuals live healthier, more confident lives.

Key Responsibilities

Disease Education:

Explains the causes, symptoms, and potential complications of diabetes to patients and their families.

Self-Management Support:

Teaches patients how to monitor their blood sugar, manage diet and exercise, and use insulin or other medications effectively.

Behavior Change:

Guides patients in developing and implementing plans for healthy eating, physical activity, and other lifestyle changes to manage their diabetes.

Goal Setting:

Helps patients set individualized, achievable behavioral and treatment goals to improve their health outcomes.

Empowerment:

Fosters the motivation, skills, and confidence patients need to take an active role in their care and make independent decisions.

Problem Solving:

Helps patients anticipate and manage daily challenges, such as illness or infections, and their impact on blood sugar control.
