Job Description


Role purpose A core element of Vodafone\'s HR strategy is to deliver world class HR processes through its global HR systems. The role of the HR Technology Product Owner is to serve as the customer proxy. They ensure good understanding and shaping of customer needs, alignment to HR, Product, HR Technology and IT strategies, as well as exploration, functional selection, design, development and operation of the right HR Technologies to enable agreed business process and business value. HR Technology Product Owner act as Vodafone functional technology expert consultant for all stakeholders - for their areas - and participate in all key meetings ensuring focus on the value creation and prioritised customer needs. They understand and benchmark external best practices, ensuring Vodafone makes the most of the recent thinking and technology available. They work with the CoE Product Manager, CoE Leads, IT and Vendors in the creation the functional road map. They also ensure that the technology enables the agreed business processes and that the design takes into account also the cross functional impact. As HR Technology Product Owner, you are responsible to define and manage the product backlog for your area - ensuring alignment with the Product Manager who is accountable for all CoE products and the cross functional roadmap. You also ensure alignment with other HR Technology Product Owners - outside of the CoE Products team - whose backlog might be impacted by/ need to contribute to the design of the solutions required to respond to the business needs. Upon development of an agreed roadmap and backlog, you lead the exploration, definition, impact assessment, design, build and implementation of changes to HR solutions working in conjunction with the IT teams to support delivery. These solutions will include SAP SuccessFactors as well as other solutions. Key accountabilities: Lead and shape the backlog and prioritization partnering with the CoE Leads, Product Managers and IT Teams and vendors Shape proposals and business cases for the businesses - including budgets - and facilitate decisions Responsible for shaping, development and running of end to end solution including any AI/Automation or sub process/systems to respond to prioritised business needs Drive simplification, innovation and continuous improvement through experiments that can scale up Partner with internal stakeholders as well as external vendors ensuring focus on prioritised backlog and agreed roadmap as well as fit with business requirements, op model and budget Partner with vendors on addressing product gaps - shaping the right solutions that the vendors will implement aligned to Vodafone priorities Work in Partnership with IT and HR Teams to create clarity on how we best optimise, govern and use various data lakes and sources of people data General skills, knowledge and experience: Essential Deep knowledge in HR processes In depth experience and expertise of SAP Human Capital Management cloud system in international, matrix environment - familiar with agile methods, Head Count, Workforce Planning and Analytics. Product mindset and experience in managing products - e.g., able to deliver solutions and support business decisions that move the business forward, on low budget, shape proxies and work around solutions, drive decisions Attention to detail (zoom in) - across large data sets - as well as ability to operate at high level e.g., process & system architecture diagrams (zoom out) Passion for innovation, focus on customer & employee experience with \'Can Do\' attitude Curiosity and ability to learn fast - up to date on technological changes in their area as well as the existing/new available functionalities. Connects with Product and HR communities to advance their development Desired In depth expertise in other - related HR Technologies Must have technical / professional qualifications: University Degree or comparable vocational training, ideally with a focus on business, IT or engineering
