Job Description

RawMaterial Inspection: Inspectincomingrawmaterials(yarn,dyes,chemicals,etc.)forqualityandadherencetospecifications. Thismayincludecheckingforcolorconsistency,strength,purity,andproperdocumentation. In-Process QualityControl: Monitorthequalityoffabricatvariousstagesofprocessing, including: ₹ Pre-treatment:Checkforproperscouring,bleaching,andmercerizing.
Dyeing:Verifyshadematching,colorfastness,andlevelness.
Printing(ifapplicable):Inspectprintquality,designaccuracy,andcolorconsistency.
Finishing:Checkforpropersoftening,stiffening,andotherfinishingtreatments.
Weaving:Monitorfabricconstruction,density,andpotentialdefects. Fabric Inspection: Conductfinal inspectionoffinishedfabricstoensuretheymeetqualitystandardsandcustomer specifications.Thisincludes: ₹ Identifyingandclassifyingdefects(e.g.,knots,slubs,stains,holes,unevendyeing).
Measuringfabricwidth,length,andweight.
Evaluatingfabricappearance,handle,anddrape Documentation: Maintainaccuraterecordsofqualitycontrolchecks,includinginspectionreports,defectlogs,andtest results. Testing: Conductorcoordinatevariousfabrictests,suchascolorfastness,tensilestrength,tearstrength,pilling resistance,anddimensionalstability.Thismayinvolveusinglabequipment. Collaboration: Workcloselywithproductionteamstoidentifytherootcausesofqualityissuesandimplementcorrective andpreventiveactions(CAPA) QualitySystem Implementation: Contributetotheimplementationandmaintenanceofthecompany'squalitymanagementsystem(e.g., ISO9001). Sampling: Collectrepresentativesamplesoffabricsfortestingandanalysismaterialssuppliedbyvendors. Vendor Management: Maybeinvolvedinevaluatingandmonitoringthequalityofmaterialssuppliedbyvendors.
