Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Oversees and direct daily Tractor PDI, Cabin Assembly & Export Shed operations with continuous focus on TPM activities, Safety, regulatory compliance and dispatches.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of officers, engineers, and technicians to ensure efficient operations in pre-dispatch inspection, cabin assembly, and export shed.
• Directing all aspects of manufacturing in the respective areas or facility in order to produce cost-effective, timely and high quality products in a safe, secure and sanitary working environment.
• To drive DWM on shopfloor including all PQCDSM parameter (in control) and timely action on the issues.
• Development, implementation and continual improvement of the operating methods, equipment, systems and other operating infrastructure used to realize operating goals and objectives.
• Strategizing the plan for smooth tractor clearance, production of cabins as per monthly plan and zero hold up at export shed with timely resolution of quality issues.
• Directing development of production work schedules to meet internal goals and customer expectations.
• Monitoring process and personnel performance of scheduled work activities to remove operating impediments and achieve the desired OEE/productivity.
• To plan and achieve targets of Akraman (cost savings) initiatives across PDI, Cabin Assembly & Export Shed operations.
• Review production plan adherance (volume & model mix both) on a regular basis and do course correction wherever required.
• Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
