Consider joining our team and unlock your potential.JOB TITLE: Supply Chain and Mfg Ops Plan MgrJOB SUMMARYThis role to oversee the end-to-end Supply Chain function for India, encompassing Production Planning and Control (PPC), Procurement, and Logistics. This role is responsible for ensuring an optimal balance between demand and supply, aligned with strategic inventory management, to achieve all key Customer Service metrics. The leader will also drive the entire Logistics Network, including finished goods warehousing, transportation, customs clearance, and trade compliance. By fostering strong partnerships and optimizing processes, this role will play a critical part in enhancing operational efficiency and delivering exceptional customer service.ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Manages and provides leadership for the functional group's development, direction, and effectiveness, adhering to organizational policies and processes and supporting overall business and corporate objectives.
  • Focuses on the execution of the regional warehouse and logistics strategy as set by the Global Logistics leadership that best meets the Country's customer contract requirements.
  • Provides expertise and responsibility for regions' import/export functions and compliance, including trade and security
regulatory compliance.
  • Develops and maintains successful relationship and contract management of the 3'd party warehouse and logistics suppliers.
  • Measure, monitor and report monthly KPIs, making sure performance is in line with target and identifying root cause and corrective actions to address logistics issues.
Collaborates with Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, Quality and Operations to effectively and compliantly service customers to ensure cost effective delivery of customer shipments at prescribed targets for service levels
  • Ensures sufficient product flow to customers in assigned regions, in alignment with Global Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) processes and strategies that meet World Class Service Level objectives:
o Aligns regional inventory targets and policies following Global Planning processes to support typical variations in SIOP plans and lead times; manages MPS/MRP system in region to accomplish supply chain flows.O Secures and manages inbound supply from both internal and external suppliers to support inventory policy and sales requirements for equipment, disposables, solutions, and spare partsO Manages inventory obsolescence risk and transitions for new product introductions and phase outs, as well as write-offs and disposal
  • Manages customer complaints related to deliveries and logistics, ensuring response and resolution within customer time frame expected.
  • Implements solutions for continuous improvements, supporting the business in maximizing sales and profit with
optimal logistics cost, assuring quality and high service level performance.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with overall supply chain and business objectives.
  • Lead vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management to ensure cost-effective and quality procurement.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure continuity of supply and risk mitigation.
  • Monitor and analyze procurement KPIs to drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Quality, R&D) to understand and meet procurement needs.
  • Drive digitalization and automation initiatives in procurement processes for improved efficiency and transparency.
  • Conduct regular supplier evaluations and audits to ensure performance standards are met.
  • Manage procurement budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings and value creation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSEducation
  • Bachelor's degree or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
  • Masters Degree desired.
Experience
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in the relevant field
  • Experience planning in global high-volume manufacturing/distribution environments
  • Experience managing global inventory with batch/serialized traceability and shelf life requirements
  • Experience in a regulated industry, medical device, and/or pharmaceutical experience is desired
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced planning tools
Skills
  • Proven leadership and managerial abilities demonstrated by developing, coaching, and training others in an organizational setting.
  • Demonstrated management experience with warehouse operations, transportation modes and requirements, international shipping requirements, import, export compliance and management, warehouse management, and warehouse facility operations, including benefits and risks of shipping modes and storage method alternatives.
  • Has demonstrated experience with 3PL suppliers.
  • Subject matter expertise in inventory control methods, inventory expiration requirements, and achieving metrics.
  • Understanding of accounting and finance in order to analyze costs and benefits of strategies, projects, or initiatives.
  • Ability to manage projects while successfully meeting budget and schedule constraints and project objectives.
  • Planning skills to establish project schedules, manage projects, set priorities, set objectives, and negotiate deadlines.
  • Successful experience working proactively in a global environment developing strong linkages at many levels.
  • Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
