A Deputy General Manager (DGM) in Civil Engineering typically oversees and manages the execution of large-scale civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed within budget, on time, and to the required quality standards. They play a key role in project management, contract administration, and quality control, often leading teams of engineers and construction personnel.

Key Responsibilities of a DGM Civil Engineer:

Project Management:

Overseeing all aspects of project execution, from planning and design to construction and handover.

Contract Management:

Managing contracts with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.

Quality Control:

Implementing and monitoring quality control measures to ensure projects meet specified standards and regulations.

Budget Management:

Monitoring project budgets, identifying cost savings opportunities, and ensuring projects are completed within allocated resources.

Team Leadership:

Leading and mentoring teams of engineers, construction staff, and other professionals involved in the project.

Coordination:

Coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and other departments, to ensure project objectives are met.

Risk Management:

Identifying and mitigating potential risks and challenges that may arise during project execution.

Progress Reporting:

Regularly reporting project progress to management and stakeholders, providing updates on key performance indicators.
Specific Tasks and Responsibilities:

Detailed Planning:

Developing detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

Contract Negotiation:

Negotiating contracts with contractors and suppliers, ensuring favourable terms and conditions.

Site Inspections:

Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Problem Solving:

Identifying and resolving technical, logistical, and financial problems that may arise during project execution.

Documentation:

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.

Compliance:

Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Collaboration:

Working effectively with other departments and stakeholders to achieve project goals.

1.1 Experience: Min 20 yrs


1.2 Must have experience in high rise building, residential and commercial. min 20 yrs.



1.3 Candidate from Lucknow location preferred.



Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?70,000.00 - ?90,000.00 per month
