What will you do? - Your Impactful Responsibilities
As Offer Manager for Home & Distribution Final Distribution products (MCB/RCB/DB), you will drive the strategic development and management of our comprehensive portfolio of miniature circuit breakers, residual current breakers, and distribution boards. This senior leadership role combines strategic vision with operational excellence to deliver market-leading electrical protection solutions that ensure safety in homes and commercial buildings worldwide.
Strategic Portfolio Leadership:Lead the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for Home & Distribution final distribution products, including MCBs, RCCBs, RCBOs, and Distribution Boards
Drive market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities and emerging customer needs in the residential and light commercial segments
Develop compelling value propositions and positioning strategies that differentiate our offerings in the competitive electrical protection market
Collaborate with global product management teams to align local market requirements with global product development initiatives
Business Performance & P&L Management:Own the P&L responsibility for the Home & Distribution final distribution product portfolio, driving revenue growth and profitability targets
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, working closely with sales, marketing, and channel partners to achieve ambitious business objectives
Manage product pricing strategies, including competitive analysis, cost optimization, and value-based pricing models
Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular business reviews to senior leadership on portfolio performance
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:Partner with R&D, engineering, and innovation teams to define product requirements and specifications that meet evolving safety standards and customer expectations
Lead new product introduction (NPI) processes from concept to market launch, ensuring timely delivery and market success
Work closely with supply chain, manufacturing, and quality teams to optimize product cost, quality, and availability
Engage with key customers, distributors, and channel partners to gather market feedback and build strong business relationships
Market Development & Brand Building:Drive brand awareness and thought leadership for Schneider Electric's Home & Distribution products through industry engagement and technical expertise
Support marketing campaigns and customer education initiatives that highlight product safety, reliability, and innovation benefits
Represent Schneider Electric at industry trade shows, technical conferences, and customer meetings
Develop training programs and technical support materials for sales teams and channel partners
What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
Educational Foundation & Technical Expertise:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related technical discipline; MBA or advanced business degree preferred
12-18 years of progressive experience in electrical products industry, with deep expertise in low voltage switchgear, circuit protection, or residential electrical systems
Strong understanding of electrical safety standards, regulatory requirements (IEC, IS, Bureau of Indian Standards), and industry trends
Proven knowledge of MCB, RCCB, RCBO technologies, distribution board design principles, and electrical protection systems
Business Leadership & Strategic Thinking:Demonstrated success in senior product management or business leadership roles with P&L responsibility for product portfolios exceeding $50M+ in revenue
Experience developing and executing product strategies, market segmentation, and competitive positioning in B2B and B2C markets
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with ability to drive data-driven decision making
Track record of leading successful product launches and driving market share growth in competitive environments
Leadership & Relationship Management:Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging with C-level executives, customers, and technical stakeholders
Proven ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with key customers, channel partners, and industry stakeholders
Experience working in matrix organizations and managing global/regional product portfolios
Market Acumen & Customer Focus:Deep understanding of electrical distribution channels, including distributors, electrical contractors, builders, and retail networks
Experience in emerging markets, particularly India and Asia-Pacific regions, with understanding of local market dynamics
Customer-centric mindset with ability to translate market insights into actionable product and business strategies
Familiarity with digital transformation trends in electrical products and IoT-enabled solutions

Key Stakeholder Environment:Internal Stakeholders: Work closely with Sales Directors, Marketing Leaders, R&D Heads, Supply Chain Directors, LOB and Country Management across India and Asia-Pacific regions
Global Matrix Relationships
External Partnerships: Engage regularly with key distributors, electrical contractors, OEM customers, regulatory bodies, and industry associations
Cross-Functional Teams: Lead product management team members, coordinate with engineering specialists, and manage relationships with regional sales teams
