We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our team as

Deputy General Manager - Institutional Sales.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving institutional business growth, managing key client relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team. This role demands strategic thinking, deep financial acumen, and exceptional leadership capabilities to expand our institutional client base and achieve ambitious revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities



Develop and execute strategic sales plans to acquire and retain institutional clients across sectors. Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth through targeted outreach and relationship management. Present and promote financial products and investment solutions tailored to institutional client needs. Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and client feedback to refine sales strategies. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals to ensure high performance and goal alignment. Collaborate with internal stakeholders including product, marketing, and operations teams to deliver seamless client experiences. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline status using CRM tools. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients and senior management. Monitor and report on sales metrics, forecasts, and performance against targets. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies in all client engagements.

Qualifications & Experience



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Minimum [10+] years of proven experience in institutional sales or business development, preferably within the financial services industry. Strong understanding of financial products, investment strategies, and capital markets. Demonstrated success in building and managing relationships with institutional clients. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and make informed decisions. Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively. Results-oriented mindset with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,650,000.00 per year

Bhubaneswar, Orissa: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
