About Company:
The client is one of India's largest module manufacturers, in terms of operational capacity, producing solar photo-voltaic modules, and are also an integrated solar energy solutions provider offering EPC services and O&M services to the customers.
An Ideal Candidate:
An ideal candidate should lead construction-specific value engineering (VE) efforts to optimize building design, structure, and utility infrastructure costs for a greenfield solar module and cell manufacturing facility while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Key Competencies:
1. Define VE goals and targets specific to construction (civil, structural, architectural, and infrastructure). - Integrate cost-saving opportunities into project planning stages.
2. Analyze architectural and structural layouts for value engineering opportunities. Recommend design simplifications or modular approaches.
3. Conduct detailed analyses for each VE proposal (CAPEX savings, ROI, lifecycle cost impact). Validate feasibility with structural and MEP consultants.
4. Engage with contractors to explore construction method improvements. Ensure proposed changes align with execution capabilities and timelines.
5. Maintain VE proposal log for construction phase with savings achieved, status, and approvals. Report monthly to VE Lead / Project Head.
