DGCA-certified Drone Pilot

with strong expertise in

2D and 3D aerial surveying and mapping

. The role involves conducting drone-based surveys for topographic mapping, volumetric analysis, corridor mapping, and 3D modelling while ensuring full compliance with

DGCA Drone Rules

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute 2D & 3D drone survey missions (topographic, contour, orthomosaic, DSM/DTM) Conduct pre-flight risk assessment and airspace checks via Digital Sky Platform Operate drones for high-accuracy mapping and volumetric surveys Set up and coordinate GCPs (Ground Control Points) using DGPS/RTK equipment Capture georeferenced aerial data with required overlaps and accuracy Process survey data to generate Orthomosaic maps, Contour maps, DSM / DTM, 3D point clouds and mesh models. Maintain detailed flight logs, survey reports, and QA/QC documentation Perform routine drone calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting Coordinate with surveyors, GIS analysts, and project managers Ensure compliance with safety, privacy, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) - Preferred Knowledge of Drone Rules and Indian airspace classification Knowledge of 2D & 3D drone mapping projects Understanding of coordinate systems, projections, and accuracy standards

Technical Skills

Mission planning for mapping (grid, corridor, terrain follow) Photogrammetry principles and accuracy management Hands-on experience with Pix4D, Agisoft Metashape, DroneDeploy or similar Knowledge of RTK/PPK workflows Familiarity with AutoCAD, QGIS, ArcGIS, or similar tools
