Responsibilities:

MTS SILICON DESIGN ENGINEER

THE ROLE:

As a member of the S3 SoC DFX Team, the successful candidate will own/lead the DFX verification activities on complex SOC. These SOCs are among the biggest in the market with billions of transistors, consisting of AMD's high performance X86 cores, graphics, data fabric and many IPs such as USB, PCIE

THE PERSON:

You have a passion for modern, complex processor architecture, digital design, and verification in general. You are a team player who has excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with other engineers located in different sites/timezones. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are willing to learn and ready to take on problems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Strong self-driving ability, should have excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
+ Strong problem-solving skills

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

Test Cases development using Verilog/C-code/System Verilog with UVM Experienced with Scripting languages on Perl/Python Hands on experience with test case coding and debugging using DVE/VERDI simulators. In depth knowledge on AMBA, HSIO, IEEE 1149.1, IEEE 1678, IEEE 1500 protocols. Experiences with DFT skills such as JTAG/ BSCAN/MBIST/SCAN/SECURITY/PLL etc. Experiences with SMS Architecture Power aware test cases coding, simulations and debug. Regression test tracking and coverage report. Work with designers on the RTL bug fixes. Post silicon bring up, bring up all the test cases owned in pre-silicon on real silicon with Silicon team is added advantages. Documentation of Test Plans, Verification Strategies, Integration guides, Release notes. Must have good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Preferable experience is 10 to 15 years in the verification

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelors or Masters degree in computer engineering/Electrical Engineering
