We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Manager to lead and expand our sales operations in the switchgear sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial product sales, strong leadership qualities, and a proven track record of achieving aggressive growth targets. This individual will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans, driving revenue, nurturing key client relationships, and building a high-performance sales team.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement the overall sales strategy aligned with company objectives.- Drive business growth through new customer acquisition and expansion of existing accounts.- Lead, mentor, and build a strong team of regional sales managers and executives.- Identify emerging markets, market shifts, and competitor activities, and recommend action plans.- Set and track sales targets for the team.- Foster strong relationships with OEMs, EPC contractors, consultants, and end-users.- Collaborate with marketing, technical, and product development teams to align offerings with customer needs.- Monitor market trends and provide regular feedback to leadership.- Oversee pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and key account management.- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events.- Ensure CRM and reporting tools are updated with accurate sales forecasts and customer interactions.Key Skills & Competencies:- Deep understanding of switchgear products (MCB, RCCB, DB, CHANGEOVERS, ISOLATORS), electrical panels, and related applications.- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.- High business acumen with strategic thinking abilities.- Experience in B2B sales, project sales, and channel sales management.- Ability to work under pressure and meet aggressive targets.- Willingness to travel extensively to meet clients and support teams.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.- MBA in Marketing or Business Management preferred.- Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in technical/industrial product sales, with at least 6 years in a senior leadership role within the switchgear or electrical industry.
