Director/Associate Director - Regulatory Advisory
Work Location: Corporate office in Noida - Sector 126
Workdays: 5 days workweek + 2 Saturdays every month
Job description
As a key member of the Regulatory Division, the selected candidate shall be engaged in rendering professional services pertaining to Companies Act to corporate clients from diverse industries as well as UHNIs & Family Offices. Exposure to and deep knowledge of SEBI &/or NBFC &/or FEMA and restructuring will be preferred.
The Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs) include:-
Comprehensive Regulatory Advisory
- Advisory, Compliance support and Opinions on matters under Companies Act 2013.
- Advising, giving opinions and guiding on compliances of NBFCs and under SEBI.
- Exposure to mergers, demergers and reconstructions.
- Representation at Authorities.
- Deep knowledge and exposure to FEMA.
- Interacting with Senior Management of Client Groups including UHNIs, Family Offices and large Corporates from various industries for successful completion of assignments and enhancing client dealings.
Client Engagement & Management
- Develop strong professional relationship with the Senior Management of Clients group from diverse industries with an objective to be their trusted advisor and a go-to person.
- Lead multiple complex Regulatory engagements, planning and day-to-day delivery.
- Build & nurture an effective working relationship with internal & external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities.
- Ensure quality deliverables in an efficient manner, respond to client queries in a timely manner and meet client expectations on a consistent basis.
- Grow the division.
People Development & Knowledge Sharing
- Manage, coach and build a strong team with the ability to mobilize and inspire them.
- Drive retention and growth of people. Deploy a process to bridge the learning gap.
- Create an environment to enhance camaraderie, promote Firms core values and ethics.
- Represent the Firm at seminars/regulatory forums/suitable meets, write articles at various forums.
- Champion knowledge sharing efforts, review and continually improve processes so that the team and firm capture and leverage deep knowledge.
