Description:

Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules\' firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.

Requirements:

Required Technical Expertise:

Must Have:

• 6 to 8 years of hands-on DevOps experience in supporting large enterprise systems (preferably hosted in Azure).
• Min 2 years of experience as a DevOps lead.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Knowledge of common operating systems (Linux / Windows), networking, Azure infrastructure etc.
• Hands-on experience in IaC automation tools: Terraform, ARM templates.
• Strong knowledge of selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools.
• Possess good knowledge of Security, Monitoring & logging tools.
• Good knowledge of Scripting (using Python/Bash/Ruby/Node.js/Shell/JavaScript).
• Experience in SQL - Basic DML, Joins, Functions, and Stored Procedures.
• Hands-on experience on Azure Cloud Platform (especially Azure Framework, Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB).
• Possess strong technical, troubleshooting/debugging techniques and problem-solving skills.

Good & clear on communication.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to work with multiple teams at the same time.

Job Responsibilities:

-> Responsible for managing all aspects of DevOps - Deployments, Release Management, Configuration Management and Technical operations.
-> Accountable for the entire DevOps lifecycle and implementation/deployment process.
-> Manage CI/CD pipelines & its automation using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins etc.
-> Define practices & tools to deliver applications and supporting infrastructure rapidly and reliably at scale using IaC.
-> Create and maintain Infrastructure automation scripts.
-> Develop and apply log aggregation and monitoring tools.
-> Responsible for managing all infrastructure-related issues.
-> Building & setting up new development tools and required infrastructure.
-> Define & implement Release Automation across environments and ensure high availability.
-> Creating/defining and monitoring operational standards with configurations.
-> Perform critical hotfix deployments.
-> Identifying, deploying, maintaining & monitoring cybersecurity measures.
-> Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for their adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage.
-> Stay current on advancements in the infrastructure landscape and influence adoption across the enterprise.
-> Be a gatekeeper between Engineering teams and Service Delivery teams to provide handoff from Engineering to Production.
-> Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible.
-> Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs.
-> Managing periodic reporting on the progress to the management and the customer.
-> Awareness of Agile principles and the ability to apply them.
-> Coach/mentor junior DevOps team members.
