The Opportunity
We're looking for a DevOps Intern who is eager to learn and grow in the world of cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps best practices. This internship is a hands-on learning opportunity where you'll work closely with experienced engineers to support and improve our cloud and deployment environments.
What You'll Do
Assist in setting up, maintaining, and monitoring cloud infrastructure (Azure primarily; exposure to AWS/GCP is a plus).
Support CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, and deploying applications.
Help manage containerized applications using Docker and gain exposure to Kubernetes.
Assist in infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform or similar.
Support monitoring and logging setups using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues.
Learn and follow DevOps and cloud security best practices.
Document processes, configurations, and learnings clearly.
You're a Fit If You Have
Completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Basic understanding of Linux, networking, and cloud concepts.
Familiarity with Docker and containerization concepts.
Introductory knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
Exposure to at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP) through coursework or projects.
Basic scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, or similar).
Strong willingness to learn, experiment, and take feedback.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Bonus Points
Exposure to Kubernetes concepts through projects or labs.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
Interest in cloud security, monitoring, or reliability engineering.
