Which means ~$900B worth of commerce flows through these ~60M MSMEs in the form of shops/kiosks/homes, scattered all over the country. We at Khatabook, have a vision to empower MSMEs and help them increase their incomes. We have built a product that brings efficiency in MSME operations by providing them easy to use tools to manage their receivables, inventory and billing which creates transparency in their cash flow. Within the Khatabook platform, we have also enabled the facility to take loans for their short term working capital needs for select Khatabook users that are displaying good credit behavior. Our app has been downloaded over 100 Million times with a monthly active user base of 8 Million+ which are adding 220 Million+ transactions with a transaction value of $18 Billion.

Your role :
We, at Khatabook are looking to hire a DevOps I/II . If you want to tackle hard and interesting problems at scale and create an impact within an entrepreneurial environment, this is the place for you.
What would you do at Khatabook?

• Working on AWS to build and maintain cloud infrastructure.
• Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters, ensuring smooth deployment of applications with Helm.
• Build, deploy, and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Monitor system performance using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and New Relic, and respond to alerts effectively.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery using Jenkins or any other CICD tools.
• Write scripts in Python or Bash to automate operational tasks.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux systems for high availability and security.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and align them with infrastructure needs.

What are we looking for?

• Cloud: Experience with AWS.
• Scripting: Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting.
• Linux Administration: Experience in managing and troubleshooting Linux-based systems.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with Terraform.
• Monitoring: Understanding of Grafana, and New Relic for monitoring and alerting.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes and Helm
• CI/CD Tools: Experience with Jenkins (or any CI/CD).

Good-to-Have Skills :

• Knowledge of Kafka administration.
• Experience with database administration for PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.

Qualifications :

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in DevOps or system administration.
• Certifications in cloud platform lik AWS Certified Solutions Architect are a plus.
