We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain critical telecommunication infrastructure in a fast-paced, global environment. This role blends hands-on technical work with operational leadership, allowing you to lead high-impact projects, implement automation using Python and Ansible, and manage robust monitoring systems. You will work with SIP trunking, carrier interconnects, and voice network protocols, ensuring high availability and optimal performance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, documentation, and adherence to international telephony standards are key aspects of the role. Accountabilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain SIP trunking infrastructure and telecommunication systems.
• Lead high-impact DevOps projects and implement automation tools such as Python, shell scripts, and Ansible.
• Integrate and monitor systems using ELK stack, Grafana, Alert Managers, and Webhooks.
• Onboard carriers, configure interconnects, and manage network components including BGP, VLANs, Subnetting, and MPLS.
• Troubleshoot voice and network issues using packet analysis tools such as Wireshark, Empirix, and SIP ladder diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with international telephony regulations while optimizing cost, performance, and solution quality.
• Collaborate with vendors, external partners, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable communication solutions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps or telecommunication engineering roles.
• Strong experience with automation and scripting (Python, shell scripting, Ansible, REST API).
• Experience deploying and integrating monitoring/logging tools (ELK, Grafana, Alert Managers).
• Proficiency in SIP, RTP, RTCP, TLS, SRTP, SOAP/REST API, TCP/IP, and SBC platforms (Ribbon/Sonus SBC, PSX, RAMP advantageous).
• Solid understanding of telecommunication networks and protocols, including BGP, VLANs, MPLS, and Subnetting.
• Knowledge of international telephony regulations and ability to propose compliant solutions.
• Experience troubleshooting complex voice and network issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ownership, and ability to optimize existing solutions.
