Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design and maintain production-grade infrastructure on AWS and Azure using Terraform.
Container Orchestration: Manage and scale Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) clusters, including Helm chart management, ingress controllers, and cluster security.
Linux Administration: Advanced administration of Ubuntu/Linux environments, including performance tuning, shell scripting (Bash/Python), and hardening.
2. CI/CD & Automation
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions) to automate the software delivery lifecycle.
Implement automated testing and quality gates within the deployment flow.
3. Observability & Reliability
Logging & Monitoring: Implement centralized logging (ELK/Splunk) and metrics monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana) to ensure system health.
Observability: Define and track SLIs, SLOs, and Error Budgets; implement distributed tracing to troubleshoot microservices.
Scalability: Configure auto-scaling groups and load balancers to handle fluctuating traffic patterns effectively.
4. Cloud Security & Compliance
DevSecOps: Integrate security scanning (SAST/DAST) and vulnerability assessment into the CI/CD pipeline.
Cloud Hardening: Implement cloud security standards (CIS benchmarks, IAM least privilege, and network segmentation).
Secrets Management: Securely manage credentials using HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, or Azure Key Vault.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Cloud: Hands-on experience with both AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM) and Azure (Virtual Machines, VNet, Entra ID).
IaC: Expert-level knowledge of Terraform (modules, state management, and workspaces).
Orchestration: Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture (Pods, Services, Deployments, ConfigMaps).
OS: Strong proficiency in Linux (Ubuntu), including networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Firewall).
Security: Familiarity with cloud security frameworks and implementing encryption at rest and in transit.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to collaborate in an Agile environment.
