Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer

What We're Looking For
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to collaborate closely with product and engineering teams in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, networking, automation, and system security.

Key Responsibilities
Work with product & engineering teams to define and document infrastructure requirements

Design infrastructure solutions balancing requirements, operational constraints, and architectural guidelines

Implement infrastructure (network connectivity, virtual machines, monitoring, cloud services)

Ensure security compliance--both policy and technical--to protect customers

Troubleshoot and resolve escalated incidents, identify root causes, and implement long-term fixes

Automate recurring operational tasks to improve efficiency and quality

Collaborate with engineering teams to design software tolerant to infrastructure failures

Manage multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously

Qualifications
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or related technical field

8+ years experience in:

Designing, implementing, and troubleshooting TCP/IP networks, VPN, Load Balancers, Firewalls

Deploying and maintaining Ubuntu server systems (on-prem & cloud)

Working with public clouds - AWS & Azure

Using configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)

Performing production operations activities

Managing containers & orchestration (Kubernetes; Rancher a plus)

Source control tools (Git, Bitbucket)

Monitoring & alerting solutions

Scripting for infrastructure automation (Bash, Python, etc.)

Securing networks & systems

Key Skills
AWS & Azure cloud platforms

Kubernetes (Rancher is a plus)

Ubuntu Server administration

TCP/IP, VPN, load balancing, firewall configuration

Ansible/Chef/Puppet configuration management

Git/Bitbucket version control

Infrastructure automation & scripting
