Job Summary:

We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to join our team and support the management and optimization of our on-premises infrastructure. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with foundational DevOps knowledge who is eager to learn and grow in Kubernetes, Rancher, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools. You will work closely with senior engineers to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management:

Assist in the setup, maintenance, and monitoring of on-prem Kubernetes infrastructure using Rancher. Support in implementing and optimizing infrastructure and services for high availability and performance. Help with backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and business continuity.

CI/CD & Automation:

Contribute to building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for software delivery. Assist in containerizing applications using Docker and managing deployments on Kubernetes. Support automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

Monitoring & Security:

Help implement monitoring solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Zabbix. Learn and apply security best practices in DevOps environments. Assist in performing basic audits and identifying potential vulnerabilities.

Collaboration & Documentation:

Work closely with senior DevOps engineers, developers, and IT teams to support infrastructure and deployment processes. Maintain clear documentation of configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.

Learning & Development:

Stay updated with new tools, technologies, and best practices in DevOps, Kubernetes, and automation. Participate in team discussions and actively contribute to improving existing processes.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

Fresher or up to 1 year of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or System Administration role. Basic understanding of Kubernetes and Docker. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or ArgoCD. Exposure to Linux systems and scripting (Bash, Python, or similar). Awareness of Terraform, Ansible, or other Infrastructure as Code tools is a plus. Basic understanding of networking concepts and system security.

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Good communication and collaboration skills. Attention to detail and ability to follow best practices.

About the Role:

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated junior professional to build a strong foundation in DevOps engineering. You'll gain hands-on experience working with on-prem infrastructure, Kubernetes, and CI/CD systems under the guidance of experienced mentors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
