Job Description

Responsibilities:

Design and automate the deployment of the platform and infrastructure on cloud Maintain development, staging and production systems ensuring 100% uptime using relevant logging and monitoring tools Configure and manage data sources like MySQL, Mongo, Elasticsearch, Redis, etc Manage source control including SVN and GIT Write scripts and automation using Perl/Python/Groovy/Java/Bash Maintain documentation for all DevOps workflows, architectures, configurations, and standard operating procedures Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices Stay up-to-date on industry trends, experimenting with new technologies, and continuously learning and growing your skillset
Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field 4+ years of relevant work experience in designing and maintaining highly scalable production systems on cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premise Demonstrated proficiency in containerisation tools Docker, Podman; and container orchestration frameworks viz. Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS EKS Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI and ArgoCD. Hands-on experience in designing and implementing logging, monitoring and alerting systems like Prometheus, ELK, Zabbix Familiarity with networking principles, security best practices, and data storage solutions is a must Good knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python, Ruby, etc.), automation toolchains (Ansible, Terraform), and configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef) Familiarity with serverless architecture, event driven architecture, managed services and serverless compute offerings from major cloud providers
