DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes and solid

programming skills (preferred languages: Python or Java). The ideal candidate will be responsible for

designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-native infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation

frameworks to support our rapidly evolving applications and services.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available Kubernetes clusters (on-premises

and/or cloud).

Develop and maintain APIs, automation scripts and tools in Python or Java to streamline operational

workflows.

Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient build, test, and release processes.

Collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure smooth integration of applications with

infrastructure.

Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including networking, storage, and

monitoring.

Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Helm, or Ansible.

Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

Ensure best practices in security, compliance, and disaster recovery.

Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide root-cause analysis.

Required Qualifications

4+ years of hands-on DevOps/SRE experience.

Strong proficiency in Kubernetes administration (deployment, scaling, upgrades, troubleshooting).

Solid programming experience with Python or Java.

Proven expertise with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Helm, Ansible, or similar).

Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and microservices architecture.

Strong knowledge of Linux systems administration and shell scripting.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with service mesh (Istio/Linkerd) and API gateways.

Familiarity with observability and monitoring best practices.
