Responsibilities
Assist in deploying backend services to development and staging environments
Work with containerized applications (Docker or similar tools)
Support managed databases and backend services (PostgreSQL or similar)
Assist in maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
Help manage Linux-based servers, including logs, monitoring, and basic troubleshooting
Support caching and background processing systems (Redis or similar)
Assist with reverse proxy and web server configurations (NGINX or similar)
Debug deployment, environment, and infrastructure-related issues
Maintain documentation for deployment and operational workflows
Follow security, access control, and operational best practices
Required Skills
Strong understanding of basic programming and system fundamentals
Familiarity with Linux basics (files, processes, permissions)
Working knowledge of Git and version control
Basic understanding of web application concepts (HTTP, ports, environments)
Willingness to learn new tools and adapt to changing technologies
Preferred Skills
Exposure to containerization or virtualization tools
Basic understanding of relational databases
Awareness of CI/CD pipelines and automation concepts
Academic or personal projects involving deployment or cloud infrastructure
Interest in DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure roles
