In SGRE we put the safety and wellbeing of the technician first and maintaining the balance between risk level and cost through application of the hierarchy of controls helps ensure that SGRE continues to maintain our social license to operate. As a Safety Engineer you will contribute to this by being responsible for preventive safety-in-design-work, compliance work, and for facilitating risk assessment and performing review on safety-critical work instructions.
How to contribute to our vision
In our team we are responsible for creating and maintaining work instructions that describe assembly, installation, and commissioning procedures in line with design and specific on-site practice particularly for the tower part. The team is also responsible for creating risk assessment on work instructions to ensure that all risks are incorporated and appropriately reflected in work instructions. The team collaborates closely with team in Denmark.

  • Work with engineers on development/execution projects to develop/update the standard processes for installation of new turbines
  • Manage and maintain a database of 'standard' I baseline information which can be used as the reference point for projects to make specific
  • Coordinate documentation tasks on projects
  • Create/update work instructions and checklists based on project's needs.
  • Ensure document quality through review processes in line with our internal management system and quality management processes
  • Ensure safe user friendly and easy to follow documents
  • Record improvement potential and contribute to the planned incremental continuous improvement of our processes & templates
  • Technical education with knowledge of technical writing
  • Be proactive in work and approach to assignments
  • Structured, results-oriented
  • A good communicator who can enter dialogue with many different types of partners. In addition, you thrive in an international environment
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office, specially Word
  • Proficiency in working with DITA/XML-based authoring system
  • Good knowledge of DITA best practices and Topic based authoring
  • Basic Illustration knowledge, working with vector-graphic illustrations
  • Experience with content management systems
  • Experience with Adobe: Photoshop, Acrobat Pro
