Kalypso is seeking exceptional candidates who are looking for an exciting career as a Java Developer who is willing to have transition to Windchill Developer. Windchill PLM Enterprise platform is Java based.
As we have diverse Clients, across multiple industries and geographies, we expect our Software Engineers to have high degree of adaptability when it comes to the problems they are asked to solve. We work on Enterprise PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) platform \xe2\x80\x93 Windchill on which we provide services like implementations, integrations, and customizations. No two projects are the same \xe2\x80\x93 ability to learn quickly and be a problem solver is a must!

In this role you will help design, develop, and test software solutions for a diverse set of clients in industries such as Life Sciences, Retail, and Industrial High Tech.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform basic to intermediate system configuration and customization
• Development of software extensions and integrations using Java and Rest APIs of Windchill platform
• Ensure quality of code by performing unit testing and code reviews
• Develop technical and functional specifications based on software design and performance
• Perform intermediate installations of tools to support development
• Performs intermediate system administrative functions
• Perform Data Migration (Data Analysis, Manipulation and Migration using an ETL process)
• Assist in the data model and the mapping definition
• Effective status reporting within their teams and with the clients
• Work with multi-disciplinary and cross-cultural teams

• Degree in Computer Science, Digital Systems, Software Development, or related
• Minimum 1 year of experience developing in Java, C#, .NET, JavaScript, SQL languages, or related
• Exposure to any of the enterprise software solutions is desirable
• Good experience and understanding of Java/J2EE, JavaScript, Web Services, Spring and Hibernate
• Working knowledge of HTML, XML and CSS
• Experience in developing and debugging with IDEs like Eclipse, IntelliJ, NetBeans
• Competency in Oracle Database and MS SQL Server
• Experience with code management and DevOps tools like SVN, JIRA, Azure or equivalent
• Experience working with different platforms such as Windows and Linux
• Understanding of business requirements and the process of translating them into well-engineered and integrated technical solutions; attention to detail
• Ability to present technical solutions to stakeholders
• Versatility, flexibility, and proactivity when resolving technical issues and dealing with ambiguity
• Effective Interpersonal, Organizational, and Time Management Skills
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with clients, peers, and managers
• Personal commitment to quality and on-schedule delivery; proven ability to establish and meet milestones and deadlines
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
