Certification required - ITIL, CCNA / CCNP Preferred (Routing and Switching)/ Security (CCNA) Skills: Strong knowledge to install, configure and manage Cisco Network Devices & Routers (2800/3800/3900/ISR/ASR), Switches (2900/3500/3700/4500/6500) Strong knowledge on LAN/WAN/Wireless concepts Strong knowledge on Switching Protocols (VLAN/STP/RSTP/MSTP/VTP/ HSRP/LCAP) Strong knowledge on Routing Protocols (EIGRP/OSPF/BGP) Experience on routing, switching and wireless is must (Aruba Clear-Pass and Airwave). Mandatory experience in Cisco ASA Firewall & PA Devices. Proven ability to manage a multi-vendor WAN, multi-protocol routing, including but not limited to EIGRP, BPG4, OSPF and RIPv2 Strong knowledge on DMVPN Strong proven operational experience in network operations including incident change and problem management. Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work under pressure. Strong proven operational experience in routing and switching in a complex data center environment. Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, controllers. Hands-on experience in working with tools like Service Now, Solar winds, cisco prime, Configuration Manager, monitoring system. Experience with Network & Monitoring tools, diagnostic and network analytics tools such as SolarWinds, HP NNMI etc. Minimum 3 years\' experience as a Network Security Engineer. Communication skills oral & written: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal communication) in English language. Ability to drive conference calls with Customers based out of the U.S., U.K., EMEA, APAC Excellent organizational, & Strong customer focus and ownership Manage escalations from the NOC where issues are experienced in engaging Resolver Groups Incidents Change and Service Requests (tasks) need to be addressed in a timely manner and provide RCA. Candidates preferably working in Bangalore and willing to work in rotational shifts preferred & ready to work in weekend as well.
