Role description

Role Proficiency:



Independently develops error free code with high quality validation of applications guides other developers and assists Lead 1 - Software Engineering


Outcomes:



Understand and provide input to the application/feature/component designs; developing the same in accordance with user stories/requirements.

Code debug test document and communicate product/component/features at development stages.

Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing improving or reconfiguration of existing components.

Optimise efficiency cost and quality by identifying opportunities for automation/process improvements and agile delivery models

Mentor Developer 1 - Software Engineering and Developer 2 - Software Engineering to effectively perform in their roles

Identify the problem patterns and improve the technical design of the application/system

Proactively identify issues/defects/flaws in module/requirement implementation

Assists Lead 1 - Software Engineering on Technical design. Review activities and begin demonstrating Lead 1 capabilities in making technical decisions

The Full Stack Software Developer will develop custom enterprise-class applications using a variety of current technologies including: Office.js, Typescript/React/Javascript, C#.Net, SQL Server 2. Working with the Team Lead, you will help design, develop and build the core unified systems to support the products. 3. In this role, you will provide programming, testing, implementation, system review, maintenance, and closure to projects. 4. You will leverage your knowledge and experience to provide technical guidance to develop applications, and to participate in problem analysis and system design. 5. Design, implement, unit test, and build enterprise class applications using office.js, 6. Participate as a team member in design, review, and planning meetings. 7. You identify and keep track of metrics that tell you how your software is performing. 8. Participate as a member of an agile team. 9. Refactor and enhance current and legacy applications to improve performance and maintainability. 10. Ensure application content and developed code complies with design standards, coding standards, practices and approaches. 11. Work as a team to develop optimal solutions that meet customers and business needs. Support testing, deployment, and monitoring of applications. 12. Mentor and guide the work product of other, more junior software developers. 13. Able to organize, prioritize and apply complex concepts to project tasks. 14. Qualification - Education/Certification: Must have a BSBE in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field, or relevant work experience. Experience Required - 3 to 5 years of demonstrable development experience building software that provide the user with a complete, insightful experience. Understanding and experience in using RESTful Services and messaging platforms.
