Strong experience with developing solutions with Ruby on Rails


Hands-on experience with postgres or other relational databases.


Good understanding of REST API design and implementation.


Experience troubleshooting performance, scalability, and reliability issues.


Familiarity with version control systems such as Git


Ability to analyze logs, debug issues, and provide quick resolutions.


Good communication skills with a customer-first mindset.


Good to have Exposure to cloud platform (AWS) & its services.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub ,

Jenkins , etc.)
Knowledge of containerization

(Docker/Kubernetes).
Understanding of Agile methodologies.

Roles

& Responsibilities




Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective

fixes & technical upgrades


Monitor application performance, logs, and error reports; proactively address

potential issues.


Provide timely technical support to internal teams, stakeholders, and

customers.


Design, develop, and maintain features using Ruby on Rails and modern front-end

frameworks (Angular).


Create and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations with internal/external

systems.


Refactor existing code to enhance security, reliability, maintainability, and

scalability.


Work closely with product managers, QA engineers, and other developers to

deliver high-quality updates.


Document technical specifications, support playbooks, and troubleshooting

guides.


Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering best

practices.




Work proactively on tickets including analysis and propose solutions.


Work independently on any new initiative.


Participate actively in calls and communicate actively with technical and

business team.


Flexibility of working in UK Shifts


Support Applicaitons on Weekends as necessary

Runner

primarily consists of short form assets & provides functionalities like

upload, download, share assets. Built on Ruby on Rails backend and Angular as

its frontend, uses PostgreSQL as database.
