Role description

Role Proficiency:



Independently develops error free code with high quality validation of applications guides other developers and assists Lead 1 - Software Engineering


Outcomes:



Understand and provide input to the application/feature/component designs; developing the same in accordance with user stories/requirements.

Code debug test document and communicate product/component/features at development stages.

Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing improving or reconfiguration of existing components.

Optimise efficiency cost and quality by identifying opportunities for automation/process improvements and agile delivery models

Mentor Developer 1 - Software Engineering and Developer 2 - Software Engineering to effectively perform in their roles

Identify the problem patterns and improve the technical design of the application/system

Proactively identify issues/defects/flaws in module/requirement implementation

Assists Lead 1 - Software Engineering on Technical design. Review activities and begin demonstrating Lead 1 capabilities in making technical decisions

Description: PEGA Developer with 3+ years of experience. Should be able to o Analyze and understand business requirements o Design and develop reports and dashboards using SAP Business Objects tools o Ensure the integration of SAP Business Objects Webi with other systems o Perform system analysis, design, and configuration in SAP Business Objects o Test the developed reports and dashboards to ensure they meet the business requirements o Maintain the SAP Business Objects platform by troubleshooting and solving technical issues o Should have very good experience in writing SQL queries and performance tuning. o Write complex SQL queries with optimization and able to work on large database schema's and volume of data. o Experienced in SAP Business Objects webi reporting with Oracle DB as back end. Should be able to implement complex webi reports based on requirements. o Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that the reports meet their needs o Participate in the upgrade and implementation of new versions of SAP Business Objects o Provide technical support and training to end-users o Document all aspects of the system for future maintenance and upgrades Nice to Have: o Knowledge and experience in ETL and Ctrl M o 3+ years of experience in PEGA Developer o Strong knowledge of Pega PRPC (7.x or higher) o Experience with Java, J2EE, SQL, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript o Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies o Understanding of Pega Class Hierarchy, Flows, Activities, and Declarative Rules o Good problem-solving and communication skills Primary Skill Set PEGA developer Strong knowledge of Pega PRPC (7.x or higher) Experience with Java, J2EE, SQL, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies Understanding of Pega Class Hierarchy, Flows, Activities, and Declarative Rules Good problem-solving and communication skills
