Role description

Role Proficiency:



Independently develops error free code with high quality validation of applications guides other developers and assists Lead 1 - Software Engineering


Outcomes:



Understand and provide input to the application/feature/component designs; developing the same in accordance with user stories/requirements.

Code debug test document and communicate product/component/features at development stages.

Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing improving or reconfiguration of existing components.

Optimise efficiency cost and quality by identifying opportunities for automation/process improvements and agile delivery models

Mentor Developer 1 - Software Engineering and Developer 2 - Software Engineering to effectively perform in their roles

Identify the problem patterns and improve the technical design of the application/system

Proactively identify issues/defects/flaws in module/requirement implementation

Assists Lead 1 - Software Engineering on Technical design. Review activities and begin demonstrating Lead 1 capabilities in making technical decisions

Additional Comments:

UST is looking for Integration developer o Proficient in C# programming, and strong understanding of .Net Core framework. Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining applications using the C# programming language within the .NET Core framework, focusing on writing clean, efficient, and scalable code to build applications. o Experience working on cloud platforms - Azure preferred. o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into functional software solutions. o Develop, implement, and maintain programs, enterprise application integration, and software program solutions that enable the flow of information between various systems. o Ability to understand the interdependencies between implementation elements and the interdependencies between implementation subsystems, and how development and dependencies are expected to change over time. o Analyse data and manage integration of disparate systems. o Develops network architectures, asynchronous messaging architectures, and rule-based systems. o Documentation of technical requirements in the interface context. o Coordinate operations with other developers to guarantee on-time completion of integration projects. o Ensure adherence to best practices in integration procedures. o Checks and rectifies data configuration & overlapping conflicts. o Experience with Integration, API management/Gateway. o Experience developing and maintaining web services for enterprise applications. o Experience developing integrations to on-premises and cloud-based systems. o Extensive understanding of development processes, integrations, and integration structures o Knowledge of integration concepts and patterns - e.g. XML Schemas, SOAP, WS specifications o Write unit tests, use automated testing frameworks, and debug core code o Conduct code reviews and work with fellow developers to integrate features and bug fixes.
