: As a Mainframe Network System Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our Network environments. You will work closely with application developers, system administrators, and other IT teams to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of our Network systems to meet business requirements effectively.
Key Responsibilities:

• At least 8 + years of experience as IBM Mainframe specialist (z Series) with focus on network technologies,
• Configure, debug and maintain TCPIP and VTAM subsystems configurations,
• Knowledge of all products using SNA & IP (DB2, CICS, TSO/ISPF, Netview, Connect: Direct, JES2),
• Configure and implement AT-TLS rules,
• Configure and implement IPSEC policies,
• Secure Encrypted data transfers (NDM, SFTP and FTP/TLS),
• Tcpip trace analysis - IP, Socket, OSA adapter, SNA, EE,
• Very good understanding of network related technologies (routing, protocols, IPv4, IPv6, etc)
• Installation, upgrade and maintenance of VTAM, TCPIP, OSA and related products on the mainframe.
• Strong Networking knowledge.
• Knowledge of SMP/E
• To support 12X5 Oncall support.
• Skills in Printers configuration, FTP, SMTP, SNMP configurations.
• Interface with operations,
• Network management software (includes NetView and NPM)
• File transfer software (includes TCP/IP FTP, Netview FTP and Connect: Direct)
• Session Management software (includes CA-TPX, CA-Solve Access and Candle Super Session)
• Printing software (includes InfoPrint server and LRS VPS) NCP and NPSI/X25
• Very good written and verbal English skills,
• Ability to work as a part of the team.

• Excellent analytical skills.
• Stress resistant and problem-solving capabilities in case of emergency situations,
• Ability to deal with multi-task issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Mainframe Network system Engineer, with a deep understanding of VTAM/TCPIP architecture, internals, and administration.
• Proficiency in Network administration tools and utilities, such as NDM, SOLVE, Netview
• Strong knowledge of OSPF resource definition, traffic routing, and security concepts.
• Experience with Network performance monitoring and tuning techniques, including system tracing, performance counters.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex CICS-related issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
