Role Proficiency:
Independently develops error free code with high quality validation of applications guides other developers and assists Lead 1 Software Engineering
Outcomes: * Understand and provide input to the application/feature/component designs; developing the same in accordance with user stories/requirements.

• Code debug test document and communicate product/component/features at development stages.
• Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing improving or reconfiguration of existing components.
• Optimise efficiency cost and quality by identifying opportunities for automation/process improvements and agile delivery models
• Mentor Developer 1 Software Engineering and Developer 2 Software Engineering to effectively perform in their roles
• Identify the problem patterns and improve the technical design of the application/system
• Proactively identify issues/defects/flaws in module/requirement implementation
• Assists Lead 1 Software Engineering on Technical design. Review activities and begin demonstrating Lead 1 capabilities in making technical decisions

Template Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality templates for web applications, emails, or CMS platforms. Candidate has strong skills in HTML/CSS, is familiar with templating engines or CMS platforms, and can transform design mockups into pixel-perfect, responsive templates. Key Responsibilities: - Develop responsive and accessible templates using HTML, CSS, and templating engines. - Collaborate with designers and developers to implement pixel-perfect UI from design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD). - Create reusable templates for websites, emails, or CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, HubSpot, etc.). - Ensure compatibility across browsers, devices, and email clients (for email templates). - Maintain and update existing templates to reflect brand and UX standards. - Optimize templates for performance and SEO. - Follow and enforce best practices in code structure, naming conventions, and documentation. Required Skills: - Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles. - Experience with one or more templating engines (e.g., Handlebars, Liquid, Razor, Twig, etc.). - Familiarity with JavaScript/jQuery for minor UI interactions (optional). - Understanding of cross-browser and cross-client compatibility. - Basic experience with Git or other version control systems. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience developing templates for CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.). - Knowledge of email template best practices (if applicable), including mobile responsiveness and inline CSS. - Familiarity with build tools and preprocessors like SASS, Gulp, or Webpack. - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow branding/style guides. - Basic knowledge of accessibility (WCAG standards) and SEO principles.
