Role description

Role Proficiency:



Develop applications in assigned area of responsibility on ERP/CRM systems with minimal guidance from a Lead Developer



Outcomes:



Work with project team to develop unit test and document small and medium complex level programs as needed for the projects

Follows the best practises set by the project requirements.

Perform other duties as assigned or requested

Code debug test and document; communicate product/component/feature during development stages.

Optimise efficiency cost and quality by identifying opportunities for automation/process improvements and agile delivery models

Learn technology business domain system domain individually and as recommended by the project/account

Define/review technical requirements based on user stories.

Mentor new team members

Contribute to ERP/CRM Practice related activities like (but not limited to) assembling content for case studies contributing to reusability coordinating internal seminars and conduct knowledge sharing sessions organizing sessions during and participating in hackathons etc.

Identify the problem patterns and improve the technical design of the application/system

Suggest appropriate technical options for development such as reusing improving or reconfiguration of existing components

Set goals in NorthStar measure progress timely and update accordingly

Completion of applicable technical/domain certifications

Adherence to coding standards set by ERP/CRM Practice

Number of mandatory training requirements (technology/industry specific training programs and UST mandatory trainings)

Reduction of reoccurrence of known defects

Quick turnaround of production bugs

Participate in code reviews with Tech Lead

Interact with client for technical discussions under supervision

Additional Comments:

OVERALL EXPERIENCE o More than 5 years IT industry total experience, with Minimum 3-4 years specifically in hands-on Salesforce.com solutioning, and development (coding) in Apex, Lightning, and Experience in Data Modeling specific to Salesforce o Must have strong hands-on experience in OmniStudio, Discovery framework, LWC & integrations o Must have strong working experience and knowledge in Salesforce experience cloud o Healthcare experience is a huge plus. Especially in the Healthcare payer/ insurance industry o Any prior experience with other technologies like Java/.Net is nice to have o Experience in working with client in USA is a Must, and in coordinating between Onsite-Offshore daily o Candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Apex/Visualforce and Lightning coding, omnistudio and in Salesforce administration, configuration, and customization, including reports and dashboards o This Role will have Design/Solutioning responsibility, as well as lot of hands-on Coding to be done SALESFORCE.COM CERTIFICATIONS o Must Have: Developer Certification (Platform Dev 2), o Nice to Have: Certified Omnistudio Developer, Advanced Admin (ADM301) or Architect stream certification CLOUD EXPERIENCE (SALES/SERVICE/OTHERS) o Must Have: Experience Cloud o Good to Have: Health Cloud FORCE.COM DEVELOPMENT KNOWLEDGE o Very good experience in having implemented Salesforce solutions, from a development perspective. Hand-holding junior developers in ensuring Apex/Visualforce/Lightning based solutions are implemented correctly and efficiently. o Done Technical Solutioning - evaluating Configuration vs Coding and making the best choices for Customization. o Must Have: Experience of atleast 2-3 Actual Projects in Oministudio, Salesforce.com LIGHTNING version, including working on Aura framework, and creating Lightning components/LWC o Experience in Vlocity is a huge plus o Strong Experience with Apex, Triggers, Eclipse IDE, SOQL and Java-script o Must be able to engage with Enterprise Architecture teams in discussing Salesforce Data Modeling o Strong Problem-solving skills, with ability to get multiple solutions for/approaches to solve a problem/scenario o Thorough knowledge of Salesforce Coding best practices, and understanding the limitations of Apex coding o Very good experience in integrating Salesforce with external systems using SOAP/REST Services o Integrate with Force.com Web services including SOAP, WSDL, REST, SSL standards, security models and typical API client architecture. And experience in working with Force.com Bulk API and the Metadata API. o Experience using Apex Data Loader and other ETL tools such as Informatica or Boomi or Cast Iron or Mulesoft o Experience with database development, SQL or PL/SQL, database schemas, stored procedures is essential o Follow unit testing and test class best practices, and be capable of coding for positive/negative scenarios o Must have experience with production deployment using change-set/eclipse/ANT migration tool, and working on solving deployment errors o Good to have - Knowledge on HTML/HTML5, CSS, XML, AJAX, Web-services, Google APIs, JQuery/any other java-script framework.
