Introduction: The main function of the role is to act as a senior developer in the On demand pricing team in Chennai. The successful candidate will need to acquire a broad understanding of all aspects of the pricing stack and be confident and able to work independently and autonomously on business critical issues. What will you be doing . Key specific accountabilities. . Gather requirements, design, develop and maintain Java Server components for risking and pricing. . Support and troubleshoot any queries and issues from the trading desks and risk managers. . Work directly with business users in driving requirements. . Help out with on-boarding risk calculation on strategic analytics engine platform . Work on Dev-Ops pipe line across Securitized Products What we\'re looking for: . Strong knowledge of Java, Python full stack development . Hands on experience on C++. . Hands on experience on UI side frameworks like Boostrap, JQuery. . Experience with unit testing/test driven development/continuous integration . Experience with relation database technology using Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle . Good understanding of CICD pipelines, DevOps tools like GIT, Teamcity, Nexus, Sonar Qube. . Good understanding of Messaging (TIB or similar), Caching (Oracle Coherence or Grid Gain or similar) . Exposure and understanding of cloud platform . Ability to communicate at all levels and work independently . Fluent written and spoken English Skills that will help you in the role: . Knowledge of C++ . Knowledge of messaging technologies/frameworks like EMS/Solace/RV/Kafka . Knowledge of Grid Computing/AWS/Cloud . Previous experience in investment banking or in the financial industry . Ability to pick up new technologies and business knowledge quickly . Ability to work well in a team environment . Highly motivated and self-driven . Attention to details . Experience working with Securitized Products business or mortgages domain . Experience in a front office facing environment dealing with traders & quantitative analysts . Experience working in an Agile environment . Familiarity with xml Where will you be working .
