EY- Consulting - Digital, Cloud and Advanced Engineering \xe2\x80\x93 Cloud Infrastructure Engineer _VMware As part of our EY- Digital, Cloud and Advanced Engineering team, you will help clients develop their next generation digital transformation strategies, solutioning, product development also cloud migration. Working with EY Digital, Cloud and Advanced Engineering teams\xe2\x80\x99 proprietary frameworks, you will help clients determine the best way to digitalize their businesses. This includes developing cloud-based solutions and defining transformation strategies for the enterprises across various business domains.
The opportunity We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a Senior with expertise in Technical Strategy Consulting to join the leadership group of our EY Digital, Cloud and Advanced Engineering Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of a new service offering.
Your key responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the Design, Implementation, Migration and documentation of VMware Cloud Platform\xe2\x80\x99s on Multicloud Platforms
• Define enterprise Cloud Strategies (Scaling, arrangements and use case)
• Design and Build the IT strategies, Cloud configuration and related services.
• Responsible for Security Infrastructure for the private cloud environments
• Deep understanding of the datacentre technologies such as Compute, Storage, Network and virtualisation
• Strong Background in solutions design & deployment of VMware SDDC Products (vSphere, vSAN, NSX, vCenter, VMWare Cloud Director, HCI and vRealize Suite)
• Advanced level of Trouble shooting of VMware vSphere, Replication, vCenter Horizon, vSAN, Site Recovery Manager, vRealize automation, vRealize operations, NSX-T & NSX-V
• Experience in Large Migrating customer applications or workloads from physical / virtual infrastructure to VMware infra deployments
• Manage the SLA frameworks, Metrics and methods to measure the Performance, availability, reliability and compliance
• Good Knowledge in Windows Servers, Linux, OS, SAN, NAS, DAS, RAID, Fibre Channel, Clustering and Backup & Restore
• Knowledge in Switching, Routing and Firewall added advantage
• Experience of Rackspace should be beneficial
• Experience with Managing and remediating cloud service provider platforms such as Azure, AWS and GCP

• Provide an efficient working atmosphere to project teams and ensure objectives are met within stipulated time
• A background of working with development best practices.
• A willingness to be flexible in responding to issues as they occur and the ability to identify product/deployment improvements to mitigate future occurrences.
• Self-motivated, Strong communication and team building skills.
• Work iteratively in a team with continuous collaboration.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• B E/BTech OR Master\xe2\x80\x99s in Computer Applications
• VMware Certified Professional \xe2\x80\x93 Datacenter, Cloud Management & Automation
• 8+ years of sound industry experience.
• Strong Migration skills from On-prem to Cloud Platforms
• Datacentre & Storage Virtualisation and Replication (vCenter, vSphere)
• Network Virtualisation (NSX)
• Cloud Management & Automation (VMware Cloud Foundation, vRealize Operations & vRealize Automation)
• Desktop & Mobility (Horizon /VDI)
