The Diploma Engineer Trainee (DET) will undergo structured training in electrical systems, maintenance, and production processes. The role is designed to provide hands?on exposure to industrial practices, equipment handling, and safety standards, preparing the candidate for a long?term engineering career.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical equipment
Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities under supervision
Learn and apply troubleshooting techniques for electrical systems and machinery
Work with senior engineers to understand plant operations and safety protocols
Maintain records of inspections, maintenance, and equipment performance
Participate in training programs on electrical safety, automation, and quality standards
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in production and maintenance
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, motors, transformers, and switchgear
Familiarity with wiring diagrams and electrical drawings
Understanding of safety practices in electrical operations
Willingness to learn and adapt to industrial environment
Good communication and teamwork skills

Qualification
Diploma in
Electrical Engineering
from a recognized institute
Freshers eligible; apprenticeship or internship experience preferred
