Plan, install, configure, and commission complete CCTV surveillance systems, including IP and analog cameras, NVR/DVR devices, associated cabling (CAT5e/6, co-axial), and power supplies.
Maintenance & Repair:
Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and prompt troubleshooting/repair of faulty cameras, recorders, and wiring.
System Upgrades:
Recommend and implement upgrades to enhance system performance, storage capacity, and security features.
2. IT Infrastructure Management
Hardware Setup:
Install, configure, and deploy various IT end-user devices, including:
Desktop computers (CPU, monitors).
Network peripherals (routers, switches, access points).
Printers and multi-function devices.
Specialized devices (Bio-metric scanners, barcode scanners).
Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and basic network connectivity issues for all deployed devices.
Inventory:
Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT hardware and accessories, managing asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal.
3. Network & Connectivity
Assist in basic network cabling, termination, and patch panel management.
Ensure all devices have reliable network connectivity and IP configuration.
Coordinate with the Network Administrator for complex network issues.
4. ERP System & Data Entry
Perform accurate and timely data entry into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system as required by daily operations (e.g., inventory tracking, equipment logging, maintenance records).
Ensure data integrity and adherence to standard operating procedures for ERP input.
5. Documentation & Reporting
Create and maintain detailed records of all installations, repairs, maintenance activities, and system configurations.
Generate regular reports on system performance, inventory status, and completed tasks.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
Graduation in any stream
Familiarity in installing, configuring, and maintaining CCTV and surveillance systems (IP).
Solid technical background in installing and troubleshooting IT peripherals (PCs, monitors, printers, scanners).
Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching).
Proficiency in performing data entry in an ERP/data management system.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
Preferred:
Technical certification (e.g., CCTV, Networking etc).
Experience with various camera brands.
