2-4 years of experience with strong problem solving abilities to provide fast and effective support for clients experiencing basic hardware and software issues.
Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate to a variety of audiences.
Knowledge of popular operating systems, software applications, and remote connection systems.
Good problem-solving skills, and high-level interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
Serving as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone
Performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
Walk the customer through the problem-solving process over phone
Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
Respond to email messages for customers seeking help
Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
Follow-up and update customer status and information
Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team
Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software
Determining the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
