Urgent hiring for our company for the position of Desktop Support Engineer for the Kolkata location.

Job Responsibilities / Duties:

An IT Technician is a professional who is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing hardware & software components of the organization's computers. They also support these systems through remote access or site visits as needed by management teams within their company.

Required Skills:

Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of computer hardware components, operating systems (Windows, Mac), network basics, and troubleshooting techniques

Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and implement solutions effectively

Customer Service:

Excellent communication skills to interact with users of varying technical ability, explaining complex issues clearly

Hand-on Experience:

Comfort with opening and repairing computer hardware

Documentation:

Maintaining accurate records of repairs, user issues, and asset information
