Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance and support to end users for hardware, software, and network-related issues. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in troubleshooting IT problems, installing and configuring systems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the organization's IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other end-user devices. Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows/macOS operating systems, software, and applications. Manage user accounts, email configurations, and access permissions in Active Directory or M365. Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and basic network connectivity issues. Support printers, scanners, VoIP phones, and other peripheral devices. Ensure anti-virus, patching, and security policies are up to date on all systems. Handle incident logging, tracking, and resolution through the IT ticketing system. Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and warranty claims. Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure proper documentation. Assist in IT infrastructure projects, upgrades, and office moves as required.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, macOS, and Microsoft Office 365 Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN) Experience in Active Directory, user profile management, and group policies Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, or ManageEngine) Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

Qualifications:

Minimum

1 year of desktop support or IT helpdesk experience

Preferred Certifications:

CompTIA A+, Microsoft MCSA, ITIL Foundation
