Position Overview

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance, maintaining system performance, and ensuring smooth operation of desktops, printers, and basic networking systems.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows/Linux operating systems. Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Install, configure, and maintain printers and peripheral devices. Perform routine desktop and laptop maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Handle basic networking tasks such as LAN/WAN configuration, IP settings, and connectivity issues. Assist in server monitoring and provide support with basic server administration. Basic firewall knowledge Maintain documentation of IT assets, incidents, and resolutions. Coordinate with vendors and escalate issues when necessary. Ensure timely resolution of support tickets with minimal downtime.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong knowledge of OS installation and troubleshooting (Windows/Linux). Hands-on experience with printer setup and maintenance. Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN). Basic understanding of firewall and server Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, N+, MCSE) will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹216,000.00 - ₹240,000.00 per year
