ob Opening: Field Engineer (Desktop Support Engineer

Location: Lake View Road, West Mambalam
Immediate Joiner Preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Provide on-site support for laptops, desktops, and peripherals Perform hardware diagnosis, part replacement (HDD, RAM, keyboard, motherboard, etc.) Install and troubleshoot Windows OS, drivers, and basic software Handle system formatting, antivirus setup, and OS recovery Resolve LAN connectivity and basic network configuration issues Maintain service logs and provide accurate documentation of each job Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for parts and escalations Handle both preventive and corrective maintenance

Required Skills:

Good knowledge of laptop/desktop hardware components Hands-on experience with OS installation and system troubleshooting Familiarity with basic networking (IP settings, LAN, Wi-Fi issues) Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to manage tasks independently and travel locally to client sites
