We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled
Desktop Support Engineer
to provide day-to-day technical support and maintenance for desktops, laptops, and IT peripherals. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up systems, and providing on-site IT assistance to employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking-related issues.
Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
Manage and maintain antivirus updates, OS patches, and system upgrades.
Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
Coordinate with the IT team for system upgrades and new installations.
Maintain asset inventory and update records regularly.
Ensure timely resolution of IT issues and maintain proper documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma / Graduate in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
6 months to 1 years of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk.
Good knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and basic networking concepts.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Should be comfortable with field visits or on-site support if required.
