Job Title : Desktop Support Engineer

Location: Nashik

Qualification:Any Graduate

Relevant certifications like CCNA, MCSA, or ITIL are an added advantage

Experience: 1.5+Yrs

Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, tablets, and peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.).

Install and configure Windows OS (7/8/10), Microsoft Office, antivirus tools, and other software as per company standards.

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

Provide remote and on-site support for system and network-related problems.

Perform data transfer, OS deployment via SCCM, and imaging via Ghost.

Configure and manage email clients (Outlook, PST/OST handling, SMTP/POP3 settings, troubleshooting mail issues).

Troubleshoot networking issues related to IP, DNS, DHCP, and perform basic router/switch configurations.

Handle ticketing tools to log and resolve support requests within defined SLA.

Support Active Directory (AD) configurations, system domain joining, and group policies.

Diagnose and resolve BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) errors, boot failures, and hardware beeps during startup.

Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) processes and hardware replacements when required.

Assist with basic cloud computing tasks and remote desktop support.

Ensure proper documentation and ticket closure in the ticketing system.

Key Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of Windows OS troubleshooting and system configuration.

Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, APIPA, etc.).

Familiarity with cloud computing terminologies.

Experience with ticketing tools and IT support documentation.

Ability to perform hardware replacements and installations.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
