We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. You will be responsible for troubleshooting problems and ensuring smooth IT operations at the user end.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for desktop systems, laptops, printers, and peripherals
Install, configure, and update operating systems and software applications
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues remotely or on-site
Handle user account setup and password resets
Maintain system performance by performing regular maintenance and updates
Coordinate with network and system teams for escalated issues
Document issues and resolutions in ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
Support audio/video conferencing and remote desktop tools
Ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and basic networking
Familiar with remote desktop tools and helpdesk software
Good problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently or with a team
Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
