Job Description

Your Role and Responsibilities
Troubleshoot the day to day desktop/laptop calls and resolve the issue as per the SLA.
Install the OS (Windows 10 and 11) and Apple MAC OS 11.xx and up-gradation new OS accordingly.
Troubleshooting the Windows OS (Windows 8 &8.1, Windows 10, Windows 11.
Troubleshooting of MAC system OS (Mac OS X 11.xx).
Install the Microsoft application and other academic-related softwares.
Installation and reinstallation of OS and other applications.
Give the telephonic/self-help support to students laptops on need basis.
Address network related issues in hostel room and blocks (Wi-Fi & LAN) in coordination with network vendors.
Maintain the asset details and give the assets number to all the devices including accessories
Maintain the configuration checklist for faculty laptops, staff laptop and desktop, classroom system, LAB systems Before any refresh
Follow the standard checklist during provisioning of any Laptop/Desktop towards users
Help users for the VC ,or UC or Events, if required at designated venues with in campus
Coordinate with Vodafone / Airtel (corporate connection) for the corporate connections activation and deactivation of IIMB staff.
Coordinate with the IIMB staff and coordinate with telephone vendor for international roaming pack activation & deactivation, coordinating the bill processing.
Give basic support to all the smartphone.
Maintain IMAC report.
Install the external hard disk and schedule the backup as per IIMB identified data and backup policy.
Storage of hard disk is responsibility of IIMB.
Install one drive/dropbox and schedule the backup in all the departments as per IIMB backup policy.
End-user side UPS management.
Scheduling video-call meetings through Zoom/ Teams/ WebEx.
Ability to coordinate these meetings remotely.
Provide technical support before exam time at locations for the digital exams on various platforms like Mettl / Digi Exam / Digiproctor.
Provide necessary support for events, seminars within Campus as per request without any interruption of regular services
Classroom equipment malfunction.
Software installation.
Network connectivity (LAN & WiFi).
Fixing Windows and MAC OS and application issues.
Antivirus updating and troubleshooting
Network printers, desktop printers and scanners troubleshooting
