Job Description

Responsible for leading multiple projects for pharma and life sciences clients, managing project teams, and driving strategic outcomes. The role combines desk research and analytical expertise with client engagement, offering development, and thought leadership. As a senior consultant, you will leverage diverse approaches, including Generative AI, to deliver high-quality insights across market assessment, competitive analysis, digital health strategy, epidemiology, and portfolio planning. Additionally, the role involves direct client management, stakeholder coordination, and continuous process improvement to ensure impactful and innovative solutions

Core Responsibilities



Lead and oversee multiple projects for pharma and life sciences clients, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional quality across engagements



Conduct in-depth desk research to develop a comprehensive understanding of target markets, companies, or opportunities

Gather information through secondary research and IQVIA data sources based on client-specific requirements



Integrate desk research findings with IQVIA data and PMR to create a holistic, actionable deliverable for clients



Lead strategic projects for pharma and life sciences companies, including EBPs, covering:

o

Opportunity assessment

o

Disease and market landscape analysis

o

Competitive intelligence

o

Analog benchmarking

o

Digital roadmap development

o

Market sizing

o

Brand and portfolio strategy



Ensure high-quality outputs; proactively identify risks/issues and escalate as needed

Project and Team Management



Function as overall project lead, managing multiple accounts and serving as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders



Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and deliver high-quality outputs



Build and maintain strong client/stakeholder relationships



Manage and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration and professional growth

Other Responsibilities



Support business development through proposal creation and contribute to offering development and thought leadership initiatives



Drive quality and process improvements across projects by leveraging AI tools and automation for efficiency and innovation; Actively engage in new concepts, products, and innovations within the team



Design and deliver internal skill-based training sessions to build organizational capability

Education, Experience & Specialized Knowledge Required:

Additional Requirements:



Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Life Sciences from a recognized premier institute



8-12 years' experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Consulting, or Professional Services Outsourcing organizations



Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and presentation skills



Prior experience in Primary Intelligence is preferred, but not mandatory



Experience with Power BI and Python is a plus, but not mandatory



Experience with IQVIA datasets is preferred, but not mandatory



Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data with strong analytical and structured thinking skills to generate actionable insights



Expertise in designing project methodologies, leveraging cross-IQVIA resources, and extracting key learnings aligned with client objectives



Skilled in managing client expectations and communications independently



Strong interpersonal skills to engage across organizational levels and build collaborative relationships.



Excellent communication and presentation skills, including PowerPoint, for global stakeholder interactions



Ability to conceptualize innovative research ideas and translate them into actionable plans



Highly detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and adaptable under pressure to deliver high-quality work



Self-motivated with strong work ethics; proactive in identifying issues and delivering impactful solutions
